You could also try the 5:2 diet regime (intermittent fast/fasting diet): reduce your calorie intake on 2 separate days to 500 calories (women) or 600 calories (men). Then eat normally (but healthily) for the other 5 days. Do the exercises suggested by Levar as well (if your phone is 'smart' enough).
