I am training for the Texas State Troopers academy. My goal is to run 1 1/2 miles in less than 9 minutes. Currently, I'm running 1 1/2 miles in 11:44 seconds. I run the first lap on 1 minute, 34 seconds, however after the first lap, I start to slow down. My legs get tired. What can I do to achieve my goal?
