Hello, I have a son, he is 5 years old. Lately, he has been suffering from fungal infections, bacterial too. Increased temperature is there too, and it is not healed with standard antibiotics. He is tired all the time, refuses to play with other children… How to tell if you have leukemia, how is that determined. A friend mentioned this possibility and I cannot stop worrying ever since.
There are several methods for determining that. You should take him for some blood test (especially white blood cells can show if there are any problems). There are also some specific markers that can tell what type of leukemia we are talking about (if there is any). I think that you should take him to the doctor immediately for those testing and see what is really going on.

I am 15 and think I have leukimia i have been in for routine blood test however they come back normal. I am constantly tired, short of breath, get dizzy easily, sometimes bruise for no apparent reason, and my gums sometimes bleed. I also have swollen lymph nodes by jaw and at the back of the neck, that haven't gone away in 3+ years, i was tested for low iron which came back negative so does anyone know why I am having these symptoms, from my research i find leukimia, but if I have leukimia why are the tests coming back negative? What are possible other diagnosis's. Thanks, let me know your thoughts!

why don't you do a research on Anaemia instead. it's possible, since you have a few symptoms of anaemia.
