Hello all. I’ve had vulvar irritation for a year due to reactions to soaps and creams and, therefore, have spent the past 6 months trying to heal the area. But, recently, I examined the area myself with a mirror and found that there are some red dots that have not healed which are extremely inflamed and hurt to the touch. I did some research strongly and believe these "red dots" are actually glands at the entrance of the vagina. I also read that they are normally not visible unless there is a cyst and that in this case they can grow to become about the size of a coffee bean. Anyway, my question is: I seem to have these hurting glands, even though not sized like "coffee bean's", but very open, red and swollen instead. Is it possible that this could be a cyst or abcess? Any cure? Thank you.

I think that you really need a diagnosis. If I were you I would have a thorough exam by a good gynecologist to determine exactly what is going on... I wouldn’t like to play with my health, especially in that area.
