What is hyperostosis frontalis interna? How is mostly affected with this condition?

I don’t know much about it. I searched for you and I found just few data about it. Hyperostosis frontalis interna is overgrowth of bone at the inner table of the frontal bone usually bilateral and symmetrical. It affects mostly females > 35 y.o., there is no clinical siginificance, unknown etiology. It irregular cortical thickening of the frontal area may be 1 cm or thicker, spares areas occupied by superior sagital sinus and venous channels, occasionaly extends to parietal bones and orbital roofs….
