You're welcome - I will tell you what I tell everyone else, "Always start out with the most common denominator" Don't immediately jump to "I think it's this or that", like one of my dearest friends thinking she CONSTANTLY has uterine cancer - when she has cramps! Let me tell ya, it REALLY tests my compassion!!!! LOL Good luck and health honey!

If you're worried that you could get pregnant, USE A CONDOM EVERY TIME. If you can't figure out how to make the condom work, YOU'RE NOT READY TO USE ONE SO STOP HAVING SEX.

Okay, first you need to know a little about precum, before you get yourself paranoid.Precum, itself doesnt initially contain sperm, however, the risk of precum entirely depends on the male's last ejaculation and how often he's been unrinating and cleaning himself after the previous ejaculation. When a male ejaculates, 98% or sperm is released however, 2% of sperm remains in the penis, hence precum is a method to wash the penis and make it easier for sperm to be release. Therefore if the male hasn't been urinating enough from his last ejaculation, the chances of sperm being present in the precum is increased.
However, even if the male has urinated often enough from his last ejaculation, there is still a possibility not all of the sperm is elimated and can get the woman pregnant. But it does however, decrease you're chances by alot. If you're worried I'd recommend the girl takes an emergency contraceptive pill, the earlier the better.
Precum is not too much of a big deal, but is still a bug matter to be considered:
At the very least if you go bare, use the following methods:
1. Urinate often
2. Wash yourself thoroughly including hands, or any possible exposure to the girl's vagina
3. Take a contraceptive pill asap to ensure there's less chances of pregnancy
If you do that, I'm sure you're chances are less. It works for me. Hope this helps.

Hello, I'm also 16 years old and I took my first birth control pill on Sunday, December 23rd, while on the 3rd day of menstruation. The night before I started my first pill, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend twice, both times he did not cum. After I took my pill, the next day my period completely stopped. I read the instructions on the birth control pills and they said to use a second birth control method for the first 7 days. After about 11 days, we had sex again but this time he cummed in me, leaving us both absolutely terrified of me becoming pregnant. I finished the last pill yesterday, and got this very strange/light period that is only clots that are very dark reddish brown. Would it be possible that I'm pregnant?

From your information the ONLY chance would be the unprotected sex 3 days after! BUT I think you are totally fine from this as you wouldn't have ovulated by then, then the pill had enough time to stop ovulation. I will tell you what I tell ALL people whom are worried about pregnancy. the ONLY way to be 100% secure in the fact of no pregnancy is your boyfriend wears a condom ALWAYS, then when he is ready to ejaculate he needs to pull out & ejaculate into the condom (away from your body). The pill (depending on the brand and hormone combination) can be from 98 - 99% effective. Adding onto this NO unprotected sex. You will have 100% coverage, also if you both get into this habit - of ZERO penetrative sex without protection. IF there is an "oops" - such as torn condom - at least you haven't ejaculated into it and the sperm having a chance to enter the uterus! So relax - your period might be wonky for upto 3 months (as your body gets used to the new hormones etc.)

The main one would have been the 12th - it's the million dollar question if there were viable sperm! As I've stated before NO ONE knows if there is viable sperm - you can't see them or feel them. Since you are a week late, this would have definitely been enough time for your HCG levels to be high enough to detect. Did you take them with your first urine? Wait a couple more days, take only 1 more test. IF it's negative then there is something else going on! RU usually regular?

honestly you all are too young to be having sex sex is a lot of responsibility i was a lil over 18 when i lost my virginity i am now 24 with 2 kids and also i am a single mother i wish i wouldve waited a lil longer. get a career and stability in your life first i think 25 is a good age to start thinking about sex or starting a family if you and your HUSBAND can afford it. i hope that somebody really listen to what i am saying. thanks

It is very normal to have irregular periods when stressed. Right after I got married, got a new job, moved my husband and I to South Korea, and then got another new job I had the weirdest cycle. Sometimes I would skip a period, sometimes I would have two in one month. Especially because your cycle is irregular at the moment, I suggest laying off sex for a while or use protection. If you have taken pregnancy tests and both are negative, you're probably good. Irregular bleeding can be the result of a few other things so if you are worried, I suggest you go see your doctor.
