Hi :-)

Somewhere between 9 weeks and 11 weeks, the placenta takes over the progesterone production. This may be why you had a bit of (brown) spotting. (one of the reasons traditionally people revealed they were pregnant after week 12)

I wouldn't worry at all, unless you start having cramps and bleeding.
In fact, if you've been feeling sort of sick and suddenly start feeling better, this too is very normal. I remember feeling so scared that I lost the pregnancy when I got to week 10 because suddenly I didn't feel nauseous or even so tired. I was 33 when I conceived and 34 when he was born.

Also, if you've been having intercourse, because there's more blood flow to that region generally, there could be some spotting. The fact that your spotting was brown tells me it was old blood.

hope this helps. I could tell you not to worry, but you will. ;-)
