Ok, so ever since i got my period it's been pretty regular. but this year all the sudden I would go a few months on and off without seeing it at all. So now i'm on my first period in three months. it's been a very light flow all week. but then today all the sudden it got REALLY heavy and i'm not exactly sure why. I usually have really heavy periods but why the so sudden and dramatic change? Thanks:) i would really appriciate an answer !
I had a friend who had a problem such as yours and they told her the reason it really heavy after not having one for a while was because she had build up. When you bleed all your shedding is the layer of uterus that thickens when your body is ready for an egg to fertilize and be implanted this happens when your body produces progesterone. Now according to her your body might have might have produce this hormone longer than it needed to after the egg died. While it produces this hormone layers keep building. So in other words you may have a hormone imbalance. This can be caused by anything from stress to a poor diet, but I am no doctor. Just thought I would give you a possible thing to look at if you decide to see a doctor.
