i am 19 yrs old i had my first child at 15 he was born 7pound 11 ounce so a very healthy baby. since his birth i have fallen pregnat twice and both times the timing was not right for me to have more children so i made the hard decision to have abortions with both pregnancys i am now in a relationship and engaged to a lovely man who is 36 we are trying for a child together and for the last year i have not been able to fall pregnat he has 4 children from a previous marraige and can have children i am scared that i am not able to fall pregnat any more is it possible my time is up? or that maybe the abortions i have had previously have made me infertile? i am so scarred and need answers is any one able to help?

I have heard that women who have had abortions can sometimes have problems conceiving afterwards. My advice is to talk to a doctor and tell them of the previous abortions and healthy birth of first child. Perhaps they can do some tests or look inside to see if there is an obstruction or improper healing of tissue somewhere. I don't think that your biological clock has stopped (I think that usually happens around menopause, which, as far as I know, is around 40-50 yrs of age) but I do think that there may be something a doctor can do to help you.
