my last period date was 1st dec 2012 and it has been 3 months till now. Till this date i did not have my periods. i also did the urine pregnancv test and it showed me negative result. so kindly suggest me something as i am scared.
Are your periods usually irregular? Mine used to be-I'd get one then 2 months later I'd have another, then one the next month, then 4 months later...they were irregular untill I talked to my doctor about it. She prescribed a pill that prevents one thing but regulates periods. The pill contains the hormones that regulate periods. Mine come in a neat little package-the first three weeks have the hormones and the last week doesn't have any, the last week's worth of pills is usually when the period is. I was constantly under stress at the time, and that sent my hormones into a tizzy. I am still under a bit of stress, but atleast I don't have to guess anymore when my periods will start/end. When I did have my periods (before the pill) they were sometimes really heavy and sometimes really light. Now they are not too heavy, but not too light.
Have you been under a lot of stress lately? It could be as simple as that. But you probably should go have a talk with your doctor, just to make sure it isn't anything more serious. Try keeping a period diary/write down when your period starts/ends, and if you have a few entries take it with you to the doctor's. I keep track of mine on my calandar. I simply write "tom visits" and "tom leaves." Tom stands for Time Of Month. I'm self-consious about my personal life, so writing about "Tom" is more comfortable to me than stating "period started/ended."
