I don't know where you got this informaton. The intact penis is not considerably bigger than the cut one. Size has nothing to do with whether a penis cut or uncut, and vice versa.

So, I think your parents must have been unaware that, as a child, they should have been retracting your penis to clean it, but also to make sure that it didn't tighten around your glans (the head of the penis). This tightening is called phimosis--pronounced fim-oh-sis. It can lead to infections and sexual issues later in life.
My advice--try to pull it back a little every day. Do this consistently, but don't go too quickly because the skin can tear. You may not see smegma yet until you start having intercourse. Some men just produce less, but you will very likely encounter it in your life if you remain uncircumsized.
To start off, you could introduce lube between the foreskin and the glans with your finger and move your finger around the head between it and the foreskin so that you get used to the sensation.
It doesn't matter when you urinate if you pull the foreskin back, but keep in mind that uncut men must pay closer attention to hygiene than cut ones. Consider that the foreskin and glans is the equivalent of the female's clitoris. If you examine a female, you will see that the clitoris looks very much like a miniature version of the head of the penis, and it is sheathed in what looks like foreskin. You will also encounter smegma in females in this region.
You should eventually be able to retract the foreskin past the head. After you get to this stage, you should use lube when you have sex or when you masturbate so that the head moves freely back and forth over the head. This will minimize the sensitivity from too much, or too vigorous, friction.
Understand that I know for a fact that foreskins can be stretched because I have done it successfully with patients on my unit.

I understand, I am 13 and can't pull mine back either. I checked the net and it is just because I didn't pullit back when I was younger. Doctors recommend you pull it back as far as you can each day and eventually you can pullit back all the way.

You need to just pull it back, don't worry it won't bleed or anything just don't pull it hard or fast or it will really bleed if it hurts. it's nothing. you need to break the skin, just stay calm

How absurd! If you cut off part of the penis by circumcision, then you are going to have less.

I'm 16, and I went through the same thing last year. I couldn't pull it back. To solve this, I spent months just slowing revealing more and more of the head until I could pull it over, all the way.

Then when I could, I was only able to do it when my penis was flaccid (unerected/ on flop/ softy/ whatever you want to call it). The trick to solve this is, once you are able to pull back on a flaccid penis, pull it back, then get an erection, then slide it back over. This stretches the skin and loosens it up (This must be done multiple times). This is what I did, I know it's messed up, but it has to be done.

You have to endure the pain.

Also clean the head every shower by just pulling back and pouring water on it, has to be done :(

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I heard that you're supposed to be able to pull it back from the age of 14 but I'm kinda worried.

hello everyone i am amazed to see that so many of you have the same problem as i had..So, let me keep it straight i come from a country where fathers usually dont talk to their young ones on these topics so it was me alone with a tight foreskin. I am 17 now and am able to retract my foreskin when it is flaccid and also when it is erect but i didnt did it in just one day it is a matter of time and you all should keep this thing in mind..Many of you who think that they have phimosis are wrong it happens when you are not able to retract the foreskin and also feel pain while erection and urine. I would suggest that you should gently very gently stretch it backwards and when feel pain just stop right there.hold for two-three seconds apply some water on the head and bring it back.Ones you are able to retract it fully when it is flaccid you can try when it is erect just like you did when it was flaccid "very gently". Sometimes when you will retract it when it is erect the skin will fold inwards which is not a problem, apply some water and fold it outwards with your thumb and index finger...And also, not just retracting the skin is enough you should maintain a proper hygiene to clean your penis and never touch your dickhead with your finger as your finger will be dirty and it will also cause you pain.........

Hi xmatt:

When I was sixteen, I could not retract my foreskin either.

To retract the foreskin, one must grab the foreskin on the shaft and pull it rearward. If the foreskin will not retract then you must consider leaving it as it is or doing stretching exercises.

It is not absolutely necessary to have a foreskin that will retract. Some men live their entire lives with a non-retractable foreskin. They can masturbate, have penetrative sex, get married, and father children with a foreskin that does not retract. Some believe that a penis with a non-retractile foreskin has more sensation and that sex is better. However there is no scientific evidence one-way or the other.

It depends on just how tight your foreskin is. If it is really narrow and absolutely won't retract, then you can have penetrative sex without pain. On the other hand, if it just a little bit tight, then it is likely to be forced back during sex and that will hurt because it is tight.

Almost all boys are born with a foreskin that does not retract. This is normal. It takes years for the ability to retract to develop. About ½ of boys have a retractable foreskin by 10.4 years of age. Many adolescents still have foreskins that have tips that are too narrow to pass back over the penis head. These foreskins may be gently stretched over a period of time to cause them to widen.

It is normal for teens to have a foreskin that does not retract. One’s foreskin is still developing. One can help it develop by stretching it.

When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction. Do NOT cause yourself pain.

It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands but it takes some time. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and give mitosis time to work.

The important thing is to put the skin under tension every day so that it will grow wider.
