How far back are you supposed to be able to pull back the foreskin on a circumcised penis? I recently started pulling it back, struggling to get further than the head.

Hi Guest,

On a circumcised penis?

The foreskin is removed on a circumcised penis.  The glans is exposed.  Some circumcisions are not as "tight" as others meaning there can be some portion of the foreskin remaining but it usually won't cover the glans.

On an uncircumcised penis the foreskin should easily retract all the way when erect.  You should be able to retract by around age 16 or so.

Sorry, typo. Meant uncircumcised. Does it go all the way back down the shaft?

It'll go past the glans. You should be able to move it over the glans easily, up and down, while erect.
