it sounds like pelvic floor dysfunction. it can cause rectal pressure. it is when the pelvic floor muscles are in chronic spasm. which would be why you feel the pressure all the time. some more symptoms are: constipation, diarrhea, abdomonal pain, pelvic pain, lower back pain, uninary frequency, urinary burning, slow steam, gas, bloating, painful intercourse. everyone has different symptoms but it can be fixed by pelvic floor therapy given by a physical therapist

Hi, new here and i just recently had a bad case of food poisioning about a month and half ago and now . I have this constant feelng i need to poop, but nothing. I used a fleet enema because i was worried about fecal impaction and it worked for the most part but now I still have the feeling that i need to poop but i don't think there is anything there and its really unsettling because both my parents passed away from cancer back to back at ages 52 (dad-colon cancer) Mom 49 ( originally had skin care at 25 and later developed breast cancer at 46). I'm 28 now and Idk i feel it maybe cancer and i have the symptoms but im praying its something else...I have felt weak and lost a ton of weight in a matter of three weeks

Diet has a lot to do with rectal pressure. I've had stomach issues my whole life and have had every test under the sun poked and pronged into me to find nothing. I've found drinking at least 1.5 gallons of water a day to dilute your system plus low saturated fat foods help the best. Pizza, burgers and food with high grease actually cause the irration and make it worse. Plus I've found when it my stomach slightly hurts I'm actually gassy so try Gas X tablets and for the worse case scenario try a tea spoon of baking soda but don't do this often since it can changyour bodies PH level causing irritation in the bladder. Those are my notes for rectal pressure accompanied with stomach issues and trust me, Your Not alone.

the ER is for emergencies not upfront medical care. You should go see a doctor, not interrupt the emergency room from taking care of critical care patients

The ER WAS for emergencies but around here it has become the first choice of many people with the changes in our system created by "Obamacare". I used to have a family doctor until Obamacare went into effect and forced him to close his practice. My new "family doctor" at a physicians group is just a figure head. I had no choice but to go to this group as all the individual doctors have closed their practices too. I saw her when I was setting up my new "family doctor" and again this year for what passes for an annual physical now. She listened to my back in one spot through my clothing and one spot on my chest then it was "well you're walking and breathing, you've been here long enough, get out". As Obama says we want everyone to get a physical paid for by the system. They pay for it by applying it to your deductible so you have to come up with the money anyway. She did get me an appointment with the heart specialist because I haven't seen him since my bypass surgery 20 years ago. Then my wife went in for her "physical" and she was sent to their lab for a blood letting to check her cholesterol. We had just recovered from paying for our "physicals" when she got the $250 bill for the blood test and a denial of payment from Medicare. Under the old system everything we saw our doctor for was paid by Medicare after the deductible including the second yearly physical. I cancelled my appointment with the heart doctor because I can't afford to pay him and there will be no more blood tests for the same reason. Whenever our old doctor sent us for a blood test, Medicare covered it and he already knew my wife's cholesterol is high and there is nothing we can do about it. My son goes to the same place and he hardly ever sees the same doctor. It's more like visiting a computer repair place than a doctor's office but that's all we have. Last year my shoulder was hurting so bad I couldn't lift my arm so I went to the ER. After a shot in the arm it was all fixed and Medicare paid for it. That may be the reason why more people choose the ER now as their front line medical source. If you don't get to see your own doctor who is familiar with you and the alleged insurance you have leaves you paying for it why go to the place where your supposed family doctor works?

when you said you didn't go poop for five days and when you poop it out, it's possible that you developed internal hemorrhoid

but what if it really is a medical condition and the individual is doing nothing about it, hoping it's just muscle tension?
