I have many different symptoms. The worst one is tightness in my head and arms, sometimes in my chest. I feel like I am being squeezed? But at the same time I feel like I need to contract my muscles and move, and I end up trying to stretch my arms by moving my hands down. I also contract my head muscles. The times I feel this are random but I can see that stress does affect it, as well as this feeling affects my stress because it causes me to sometimes stay at home instead of attending college.

Also, the symptoms that scare me is fatigue in my arms, sometimes legs. I a tingling sensation or itching inside in both hands and legs and that just something isn't right, I feel like my arms or legs just don't feel the right amount of pressure maybe. It is often accompanied by sharp pains on the surface in different places in the body.

I don't know if I should go to a doctor or psychiatrist and I have heard that psychological problems, such as fear (I have agoraphobia) can cause severe physical problems.

Hi, Guest.

Your symptoms sounds like anxiety attacks, so my advice should be to visit a psychiatrist. Many people which were homesick reported similar symptoms like yours.

You mentioned agoraphobia. When were you diagnosed with it, and how does it manifest? Maybe you developed some other phobia as well.

Keep us posted & take care!
