Try the Slow carb diet. Not low carb but slow carb. So for breakfast, lunch, and dinner you eat a protein, a vegetable, & a legume (lentil or beans). You have to stay away from fruits, sugar, and dairy products. With this diet I have energy after eating rather than feeling sleepy and tired.

Hi, I have the same issue lately with eating and start to feel drowsy which leads to ineffectiveness working at my job. consider chewing your food properly before swallowing. Also try to drink warm water after half and hour of your meal. Sitting jobs will definitely cause some gas issues in stomach so keep getting up every 15 to 20 mins and take a walk (pass gas). Drink plenty of water all day. Start working out. During dinner time do the same and don't go to sleep right away because it will not improve. Stomach needs to get habituated with this routine and automatically start feeling better. HOPE IT HELPS !!!!

I see these posts are older but I'll try anyway...I have the exact same problem..some days are worse than others...I don't eat simple carbs ( fruit, pasta, rice, bread etc) so that's not the problem and I don't eat breakfast...if I do I'm hungry and tired all day...if eve started something new which seems to be making it better...if even stead of sitting to lunch I snack on something small whenever I feel hungry...it can be a hardboiled egg, string cheese, a cup of hot chocolate sweetened with stevia, some carrots, celery, some nuts, seeds, cucumber /tomato slices, ..etc...it seems to work...I'm wondering if now that my body doesn't have to take a break to digest an actual meal it's bester able to keep up with my energy?...again some days it works better than others but it def. Works for me...it also keeps my hunger away and I quite enjoy a variety of snacks during the day and I'm less hungry at night
