Ive just read most if the replies and its sort of comforting to know that other people go through the same thing. The only difference to me is that when it come every 3 months it lasts a whole week but the pain is more severe like i get really bad back aches and feel dizzy plus it doesnt help that its unpredictable like it just happens any time there isnt like a regular week in the 3 months

Problem with me. My periods started little late when i was 16y old. After that it happened only twice a year like that. Doctor said it's normal it will be okay with time. Now I'm 26 and now periods happen every three months. When it happens it's heavy and lasts at least 5 days. My mom says she also had the same problem in young age it will be alright after marrying. I'm about to get married now and I'm bit afraid of this. Once doctor gave me birth control pills too. It but only while taking pills. I'm lacking Hemoglobin. It may be a reason behind this? Anyone has same experience like me?

Maybe it is caused by weight loss, lots of stress or too much exercise.
You are not the only one.
I suggest you go to the doctors.

I get this too, I'm 14. The first few cycles of my period were normal but now they're all over the place and I mainly get them every 3 months. I guess it's good but when I am on my period, I'm quite heavy. Don't know if it's normal but lots of people seem to get it. Also I've searched explanations as to why it happens and lots are about weight loss or gain, stress, huge changes in your life etc but nothing has changed like that.
