I have what they told me is Boop and I was on Prednison 60mg from December to March and then it was lowered to 40mg. I don't see the pulmonologist until April 28th for the follow up. They did a ct scan in January and another in March and it is clearer and there are less white patches on my lungs.

I just wanted to know how long I would have this or if it's something I'll always have. I've been on oxygen since September because at first they thought it was my neuromuscular disease causing my cough and pneumonia. At one time I was on 3-4 liters but am down to between 1-2 liters and am trying to get off of the oxygen.

Will I always have to take medicine for this or take the Biaxin antibiotic preventative?
