Let's start off by saying I never really get my period. May be 1x a year or so...anyway i got my period yesterday which is odd because I had already gotten my period in Feb. Its really dark & dry brown blood. I have no clue whats going on..has anyone had this before? Not pregnant because i do not ovulate and no periods. Could it be changing cycles? I was on the pill for over 7 years and come off of it in 2006. See my doctor 1x year for a pap. had all my blood work done any everything is normal.

Hi there, it is unusual that you have had your period when you're not used ot it but it's really quite normal to menstruate on a regular basis, so the fact that you're doing it twice in one year makes sense. How do you know that you do not ovulate? The best guess I have is that you are probably stressed, which can cause an occasional discharge like you are describing. What do you think?
