Hi guys im a 12 year old male with type 1 daibetes and have had pain and some bleeding while pooping for a long time now. This kind of comes and goes but always there whether the pain is intence or not. Recently I noticed a swelling area near my anus. It is kinda of a swelling of skin with a hard bump under it. Yesterday I noticed a yellowish discharge from it and I have no idea what it is. My anus has also been itchy for a while. Please help even if you only have a slight idea or none at all just state a thought. Thanks,bye

It sounds like you may have a case of hemorrhoids, however, I am uncertain that the yellow discharge would be from a hemorrhoid but a possible infection. With you being a type 2 diabetic, I would highly suggest you have your parents make a doctor's appointment for you to have it checked out. Hemorrhoids can be treated with medication, but if you have an infection of some type, you will have to be on a course of antibiotics for it. Infections are hard to fight if you are diabetic, so you need to get it taken care of before it gets any worse. Good luck!
