Hi, some of the reasons that can cause a hymen to break are horse riding, riding a bicycle, stretching exercises, gymnastics, masturbation or even just through using tampons or a fall when you was younger.
There are many reasons and I realise its your culture to bleed the first time you have sex with your husband but he also has to trust and believe what you tell him to in this day and age :-)

hi, I have done some researching today on the net and it says that some girls don't bleed or feel any kind of pain on there first time even with there hymen still intact, not sure how many times you and your husband have had intercourse but some say they haven't bled until the second or third time.

hi, well if your husband to be hasn't been with anyone else then he shouldn't have any infections to pass on to you but would advise if you to use some kind of contraceptive if you don't want to get pregnant yet. :-)
hi.....i understand ur point......from last 2-3 months...i had pain in stomach so i consult with doctor...after checkup(ultra sound),she tell me that i have a cyst in my cervix....i tell her that i had sex with my fiance 6 months ago....she give me some medicine...after that i have no stomach pain....pls tell me should i check myself again ??or no need......is it a major problem???....
