Hi, i'm Daniella. I just turned 13 and I weigh over 100 pounds. I don't know exactly how much but it's a lot. Probably like 140 - 150 something i'm really not sure. I want to lose weight fast. I don't like how my brother is TOO PUSHY and I don't like to run much (I can't run too much in the heat. I don't like it :P ) but I want to lose A LOT of pounds. I want a sport I can join so I can feel comfortable around my friends who are in basketball and softball. They both interest me but i'm too late for try outs!! Please, any suggestions as to what I can play or what I can do? It would help a lot!! 

 

I mostly want to lose weight so I can feel pretty and I can look pretty :)

I am a young mother and a pharmacist and my daughter is 11 years old slightly over weight. So I completely understand where your coming I am all for a healthy lifestyle and I'll give you some information to help you, with the understanding that even though I don't know  you I am 100% sure you are beautiful as is. Now on to getting you to feel the same way. Soccer is a great sport for young girls but does require a lot of running. Swim team is another great option and great whole body work out. Even if you can't join a swim team if you can get to a pool and swim laps for 30 minutes 2-3 days per week go for a 30 minute walk the other 2-3 days per week. Walking 30 minutes a day five days a week until you figure out what your going to do will make a huge dent in your weight. Additionally you'll need to eat well the best way to do that is small meals throughout the day, eating this way will keep your body in fat burning mode. Example of daily diet (I'm keeping in mind your still in school will be much easier over summer) Breakfast 7am 1/2 bagel light cream cheese 10a granola bar 12p healthiest option on lunch menu (no pizza) 2p all fruit fruit strip 4p  piece of fruit(no bananas) 6p dinner lean meat (cut your potato/starch serving in half) and veggie 8p more fruit/granola bar.

Thank you! This should help a lot! I'll keep this in mind, Well I like to play the game even if it includes running, i just don't like the running to condition for a game. That tires me out! So with the diet and the exercise I hope it will be a little easier. Thanks a bunch!
