I have read some of the topics here. And I noticed that there was a time when I had sex, and after we were done I proceeded to the bathroom and found that I had a thick clear mucus like discharge. I know for a fact that it was not him so I wonder what it could be and what it could mean for me? We are not intentionally trying to get pregnant but since then I haven't had a regular period. I saw spotting early Feb, (spot one day none the next, spot the next day) off and on. Then I saw it again just a couple weeks ago but for one day only. I have taken a hpt but they are coming out neg. I just would like some clarification please? I'm sure something can help me understand this better.
Vaginal discharge, when there is no infection or any kind of serious condition, should look just like you have described. Its function is to clean dead cells from the uterus lining, cervix and vaginal walls and besides those cells its just natural lubricant - mix ow watery substances and some minerals. So it's no surprise that i comes out more after sex that caused uterus contractions. If it happens only after sex, has no smell and causes no itching and anything, than its perfectly normal.
