All these people keep saying to relax and that did not help me one bit! I had the same exact problem the first 2 times my last boyfriend and I had tried to have sex. I was a virgin and he was not, and he could only go in about halfway before I wanted to scream out from pain. Relaxing did nothing for me. The only thing that helped was me getting on top and slowing lowering myself down very carefully. It put me in control and I could steady myself. I learned to do that from another friend of mine who had the same issue. Ladies, if it’s too painful, try being on top and working your way down onto the penis very slowly and just breathe. Hopefully this helps anyone else who stumbles across this in the future.

I think the issue is that the vaginal walls are not used to stretching that far so it hurts the first couple times. I still have that problem when the guy is thicker, and I lost my virginity 9 months ago. Idk if my hymen tore or not because the pain was so bad I wasn’t worried about if it was at the opening or inside, I just needed it to stop.

Losing my virginity was so painful and I bled so much!! I had to ask my boyfriend to stop because I just couldn't take it and I felt so bad for him. So I bought a small dildo and tried to be comfortable with it before I tried with my boyfriend again. Took me quite a while to get used to it but that's my advice, you should definitely try to masturbate and get to know yourself

I’ve tried to have sex with my boyfriend twice but I am way too tense!!! It hurts so much even though he isn’t in at all. it’s the most painful experience and for some reason I can’t seem to relax
