Hi Anniston,

You sure can.  It's a great exercise and good way to build up your muscles.

But, you MUST use correct technique.  Improper lifting can cause damage.  Don't try to lift excessive loads either.  

Rememer, your body needs time to rest as well.  Don't over do it.
