I was diagnosed with epididymitis by an ER doc. I went in because I had severe swelling and pain in my groin, lower abdomen, and back. He perscribed 2 antibiotics, oxycodone, and something for nausea. I had two sonograms done on my testicles and nothing abnormal, except for excessive fluid was found. I have been home resting following the doctors orders for only 1 day and the swelling had increased so much that now my penis is swollen too. I don't feel any pain due to the meds but the swelling is increasing at an alarming rate. I don't have money to go to a specialist, who should I call, or what should I do?
My advice to you is go to a urologist. A urologist is a doctor who specializes in the reproductive part of the body. If you are in agony go to any doctor ER or a regular MD.
