I had unprotected sex and took the morning after pill 30 hours after. I then went to the doctor 5 days later to go on the pill. I was told to start taking it straight away and if my period didn't come (which was due in a week) to take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the unprotected sex. Two days after my period didn't come i got scared and took a pregnancy test which read negative. However my period still has not arrived a week later and I've started to get cramping in my lower stomach, really tender breasts, going to the loo a lot, and feeling tired. In 4 days it will have been 3 weeks since the unprotected sex and know that I should take a pregnancy test then as it will be more reliable, but I was just wondering if these signs of pregnancy are similar to any symptoms of starting the pill? also if the pill could be the thing that stopped my period from coming?
WOW. IT REALL FEELS GOOD TO HEAR THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH THIS, IT IS VERY STRESSFUL. I HAVE ALL THE SAME SYMPTOMS ACCEPT I HAD WHAT I CALL WEIRD PERIOD I BLED FOR A FEW DAYS BUT NOTHING LIKE A NORMAL PERIOD VERY LIGHT AND BROWN LIKE BLOOD BUT I HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN LAST MONTH AND IT WAS NEGATIVE. I ALSO HAVE BEEN VERY HUNGRY AND CONSTIPATED TIRED IRRITABLE AND EVERYTHING ELSE..
