I had my my thyroids taken out in 2010 due to cancer in my right side. I gained 50 pounds after being diagnosed. I take 225 mg of the hormone Leventhrotism (not sure on spelling). Have you found anything as yet. I have been on an Almased diet, which I have used for over ten years with great success. I have not gone on my scale as yet but I am pretty sure I haven't lost anything this time around.
