I am almost 13 in 15 days, and I weigh 148. I am in Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, and Dance. I eat healthily. I am obviously getting enough exercise. My belly doesn't have rolls it is just big. I have fat thighs too. I do not understand why I am becoming like this. Any tips?

I'm 13, 5'5" and 135 pounds. It depends on your height and muscle mass to tell if you are overweight. If you are overweight, try to cut down on white carbs and sugars. Also, workout more.

Ya I’m 12 and I weigh 140 but I look fine and I eat properly..I do karate and figure skating so I guess it has something to do with muscle

I user to weigh 120 pounds and I thought that was bad ...now I weigh 140...I feel horrible and recently have been taking it out on myself (if you understand that) I try to do the right thing by eating right and exercising but it's hard because I have asthma, so I can't run. I also have many allergies so it's hard to figure out things that I can eat. My says that it's normal because you're going through puberty and stuff but I don't think so...... Is there something wrong with me?

No.Im 13 and i weigh 140 but active i did 2 sports and my body didnt change but i muscle.It takes awhile

Okay, I am 14 and I weigh 140 pounds. That would be okay if I were taller. I am very short. I am 5 feet 3 inches which is below the average height for a child my age and above way above the average weight. Or so I thought! One day when I was feeling like a fatso, I saw a picture of Marylin Monroe. For those of you that don't know who she is, she was a famous actor in the 40s, 50s, and the early 60s. She was considered one of the most beautiful woman in the world and still by those who know of her. Now how did a picture of this lovely lady make me feel just as lovely as her at my weight? Because she was 140 pounds too. I looked at that picture and the first thing that jumped out at me were her thys, they were bigger than mine! Than I noticed her hips and her upper arms! She wasn't pencil thin like todays modals and actresses! But she wasn't fat either! She is considered the sexiest woman to live! Yet she looked like me! She wore size 12 in ladies clothing, and I wear size 9 in juniors! I still aspire to loose a little weight in my gut and I try to eat plenty of proteins (which, by the way, do not make you gain weight and keep you healthy), I do 3 sets of stretches a day, which help me burn calories since I am sitting most of the day in school.
So, if you are like me, and think that you're fat, you are not. Even if you weigh more than me. You are perfect and there is someone out there that will make you feel great about yourself!
