im 17 and from the begining of this year ive noticed that my vagina is really dry. I have been sexually active for about a year and in and out of relationships. Also at the end of last year i caught chlamidia and i got it treated.

My last few sex experiences have been terrible, i havent been wet at all and i used to get sooo wet. I thought maybe its a mental problem? I havent been completely into some of the people ive been with and im not always in the mood. However i just seem to be more dry in general, i cant explain it but it just feels different!

Ive had check ups for gonoreah and chlamidea and im all clear. Maybe its another type of disease? Im so worried about it its been going on for a while and i cant think of any reason? its just such a stark difference to how i used to be.

Ive been on quite a few websites and noone has helped. PLEEEASE!!!! does any one have any idea??? :'( :'( :'(
Vaginal dryness is pretty common for younger women. Doctors recommend that every woman in her teens and 20's use lubricant every time to help deal with the problem.

You probably got pretty wet before because of puberty hormones at the time. Perhaps, also, the antibiotics you took for your STD have caused a bad Candida infection in your body, causing you to get a yeast infection. A yeast infection can make it pretty difficult to get wet sometimes.

If you have a yeast infection, get it treated. Also, start using lubricant every time. (Also, use a condom every time so you don't get any STD's. It doesn't matter if you don't like it, if it "feels different," do it. It's better than getting a serious illness, like AIDS.)
