I had the exact same problem today, I had Mcdonalds for lunch and sat on the toilet to take a sh*t, and I was pushing really hard and than when I was done I saw fresh blood in the toilet nad on my toilet paper, and I was omg what the hell, and im on my period but it wasnt period blood and my period is pretty much done. So Is this normal just from pushing so hard or is there something I should be worried about?

So I have the same problem. But it can be caused from something serious, or the fact that you don't eat right. Whoever said that they have been doing this and then last week didn't it's because you probably had more fiber in your diet or something. Fruit and veggies are good so don't be dissing lol. But what I do to improve this is in the mornings eat a bowl of raisin bran, or some cereal like that. As nasty as it sounds you just need to soften your poop up a bit. This doesn't mean go on a diet, but just throw in some things like I have mentioned and you should be good... if not yeah, make the call.

I would suggest getting more fiber in your diet. Your stools maybe too firm and it is cutting the sensitive tissues of your bowel. A good source of fiber comes from legumes (peas, beans, etc..), vegetables (broccoli, carrots), tubers, oats (oatmeal, cereals, etc...), and fruits. A couple of days with an increased amount of fiber will rememdy this problem. If you don't feel like changing your diet then get a fiber supplement to take everyday.

I just got done launching a sea pickle in my dorm bathroom. When I take a poo in a public restroom it is common that I line the toilet with two layers of toilet paper. After I heard it ker-plunk, I was surprised to find a dispersal of blood in the water, and a potent drop on my neatly placed toilet paper. I ran back to my room where my roommates assisted me with my butt problems and I am nervous that I have some issues. singed bloody concerned. 8-|

i started off with gust a little bit of blood from my rectum every time i sent one sailing, but the last two days i have had a lot of blood in the water after i'm done. the first time i had a lot of blood in the toilet i thought i was on my period but i gust wiped my back side! i am still concerned and if this continues over the next 3-4 days i'm going to the doctors, and after reading some of what some of you have posted, i suggest that you go to the doctor too even if it is an uncomfortable situation for you because if it continues it will be for me too.

same thing happen to me today. i took a small c**p and i look in the toilet and holy sh*t theres like a huge splatter or blood. so i wipe my ass and then its gone. no more blood. but then i go to pee. and like i wipe my ass just to see if i have blood. and like a few drops get smeared on the paper. is this like hemorroids? this never ever happend to me before. im 18 female. what the hell is this?

Same problem here, or I probably wouldn't have found this thread... I've been worried about it for the past month because when I wipe there is blood, but like others have experienced when I'm done wiping there's no blood.. I haven't gone to the doctor about it.. But, despite my embarrassment I did talk to my mom... She essentially said that I was probably just ripping the rectum wall while going.. I don't know if it's anything to be greatly concerned about yet.. I'm still surprised that there are so many people with the same/similar problem though.

Hiyah, well i have had the same problems but mine is really sore, its only started since i have come off the injection, today i went for a poo, and it was think blood no poo was coming out, it was just lumps of blood, i haven't a clue what it is, and i don't really want to talk to my mum about it because a lot of other things have happened to me past the last year following to this year, it doesn't stop itching i have put cream on there but it just makes it worse, i just want all the pain and all of the bleeding to stop. x
