I'm kind of freaking out!!!

I am not a virgin but I have not had sex for over a year. The man lost my virginity to was not well endowed and I never had any issues after sex with him. However about a week and half ago I had sex. We were safe and used a condom, but this guy was very well endowed and I was very dry at time of insertion. The sex was kind of rough. I did not bleed until the next day and even then it was not heavy only spotting. I have been spotting on and off since I last had sex, but it is also time for me to start my period. Should I be worried? How long is it normal to spot? I have never had regular periods and I am not on birth control. Also I have had pap smears in the past and everything has been fine.
