Hi folks,

I've been suffering form terrible anxiety the past 8 days. It's becomng worse everyday. i am a 20 year old male living with good physical health. However, my mind is killing me at this point. My anxiety is truly terrible, my mind races all day and all night. i can't enjoy anything anymore. eating for me is terrible now, i feel as if i'll throw up everytime i take a bite. Also my heart races 24/7 as well and makes me feel sick most of the time. i haven't had a good nights rest since my anxiety started.

Also, my anxiety came out of nowhere. I don't know why i have it, i just do. It feels like I fear nothing except fear itself if that makes sense. i have been thinking about if this will ever end and i'm truly terrified it never will. Also, I never been on any medication, I"m scared if I take it, it won't work, or it will make my anxiety even worse. i don't have any options left. Please help if anyone can, it would be immensly appreciated.

I feel for you. That is how mine was brought on out of nowhere. I quit smoking cigerettes and a month later anxiety. It's been 10 months and now getting better. Hopefully you have family members that you can fall back on? It helps a lot. Also, learn some deep breathing exercises. To help you relax try Calms Forte which you can buy at CVS really helps relax your mind and assists in a better night sleep. I take it during the day if needed. Take a good fish oil pill like Country Life Mood support. You can buy it at the Vitamin Shoppe. Try exercise this helps a great deal as well. I opted not to go on anxiety pills. I tried 2 weeks and went crazy but everyone is different. You can try them if all else fails? You need to change your thought patterns. It's not easy but it can be done. One thing I have learned that no matter how crazy I felt in the begining I am still here and realize that it can not kill me. Good luck

Thanks for the encouraging words my friend....I will try my best to think positively and hopefully get through this terrible anxiety without getting on medication. Thanks for the info on Calms Forte, I'll check that out as soon as possible. I have tried exercise, but when my heart rate becomes elevated, it makes my anxiety worse. I will keep trying to exercise though, hopefully it will began to work. Thanks again for these words, it helps out immensely.
