Hi, does anyone have any updates maybe about successful diagnoses or treatments? My partner of 2 years seems to have ALL the same symptoms. He's currently asleep beside me fully dressed as he couldn't undress himself and got irritated with me when I tried to help. It always happens to him at night (usually 7pm or later) and is much worse if he gets overtired. He can't stand up or walk without stumbling everywhere, when he talks he doesn't make any sense and keeps repeating the same things, he becomes totally irrational and won't listen to me. He can't function and has zero control over his own body, his eyes seem to glaze over and he's wet the bed multiple times before, it's like he's sleepwalking but he's still technically awake. He has no memory of anything the next morning. He is a recovering alcoholic (sober 15 months and very serious about his sobriety) but we spend every day/night together and this "switch" often happens when we've been sitting together and can happen just a few minutes after he's completely normal and functioning. I'm wondering if it's a lasting effect of his previous alcohol abuse, also hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) keeps coming up when I Google his symptoms. If anyone has some advice I would really appreciate it.
