Hello, im a 16 year old teenager and i have been smoking weed for about 7 months now. ever since last week i had some bud left over... so i went in the shed and smoked it, their was about 7 cones in total went inside and played xbox, listened to music like i always would. But within 1 hour i suddenly felt my heart, and had a ringing sound in my ear. I freaked out, layed in bed and all i could hear was my heart beating really fast, my mum is a nurse and she said it was at about 160bpm, it felt like an adrenaline rush.I have continued to smoke and still feel it everynow and then raise up to what i would think to be 110-130bpm, not really sure.. but i calm myself down and stop thinking about it and it lowers to about 100bpm, is this bad for me? Is it okay aslong as i relax it back down to its original state? Please help, Peace.
This is a fairly common reaction to cannabis for someone who hasn't smoked it for very long. Since you can apparently control and reduce the increased heart rate on your own and it is fairly irregular and infrequent, I wouldn't worry about it.
