I have Chron’s disease. It makes me popular because Anastasia has it too (joke). This week I am doing some tests and than I will start with infliximab therapy. Why is it so complicated? Doctor told me that Chron’s disease can’t be eradicated by infliximab. How is it going to help me?

Infliximab is using for treatment of inflammation like you have in your GIT. It is true that infliximab does not cure disease, it reduces its signs and inflammation. I know you are about to do some tests like tuberculosis skin test.
The most common side effects are respiratory infections and urinary tract infection.
There are many others, more or less common. Talk to your doctor to be prepared for nausea, vomiting and how to treat it during therapy. Good luck.
