The Internet gives me so much anxiety! I had my abortion back in September and I got my first actual period again in November. It was three days. This month it was super heavy and last two days. When I say heavy. I had to change my tampon almost every hour. Of course I look up on the internet what it could be and the first thing that popped up is the possibility of being pregnant. I'm too ashamed to go to my doctor.

I got an abortion December 22, 2016 and a month later I got my period on Jan 22. It is now feb 25 and I still haven't gotten my period. I have had protected sex. I also have done a pregnancy test and it came out negative twice.

I have a similar situation. I got my (what I believe was my period) about 6 weeks after my abortion. I've been on birth control pills right after I had my surgical procedure. I believe what I had about a week ago was my period (actual red blood not like Clot's) but it only lasted 3 days and was extremely light. Now I have it again- about 5-6 days after that "first period" which I find extremely weird and concerning... Has this happened to anyone else or do you recommend me seeing a doctor?

I am too in the same situation. Had a medical abortion in Nov, then got period again 4 weeks after. After that, periods were normal like how it was before abortion, 28 days cycle that lasted 6-7days. And then suddenly, on April, nothing. Been late 7 days now, took HPT and it was neg. Also I don't feel pregnant & don't think I'm pregnant as bf & I have been very safe.

UPDATE: Just had period, after 8 days late. I think the delay was also caused by stress, because I was worried I might be pregnant again. For anyone having the same problem, just wait until your period comes. Or keep taking hpt every 3 days to be sure.

I'm new to this. But I had a pill abortion late February. And I still have not received a period. I have taken several pregnancy test from February till now. And they have all come out negative. I'm just really worried and stressed as to why I have not revived a period yet. Any one who can help somehow would be great!!

Fair enough, he doesn’t want children, that’s fine. But If that’s the case then he should use a condom. If he doesn’t like condoms and doesn’t want children he needs to make a choice as to what he would prefer. But to be like nah I don’t like condoms but if that means you get pregnant then you gotta have another abortion... like they’re just a walk in the park, they aren’t. Sorry to shove my nose in but it just really got to me. My ex was exactly the same and after having my abortion I left him.

Hey even i have the same problem.. I had abortion on Nov month and got 1st period within 13days and after that got second period after 27days that is on Dec 23rd.. But this month till now I didn't get it. I had a unprotected sex during my last periods 4th day.. I have breast tenderness.. What will be the reason for this..
