Is it possible to be in love with your child? I don't mean a romantic love but I do mean the intensity that accompanies romantic love... a mixture of joy, pride, hope, well-being, comfort, and caring both for your child and from him/her. Maybe there is a better phrase for it but heck, I'm undeniably in love with my kids.
i say yes and i know excactly what you mean. being a single dad of two wonderful kids i love them with all my heart and soul which even i cant descibe .all i can say is that it is beyone love i get emotional just thinking about it .that is why i say beyond love and they are my pride and joy fore ever and ever . god bless me with my kids and i will never take it for granted
I think being 'in love' and 'loving' someone are not mutually exclusive.
I'm certifiably head over heals for my daughter - who is 50 days old today.
It's an unconditional love also.....
you know all that soulmate/partner BS? it's BS.
my "soulmate" is my daughter. and to answer your question, yes.
