i had my tounge pierced about 2 weeks ago with a plastic tounge bar , and i have changed it to a , metal one, under neath my tounge it is red and very sore and so is the top under the ball , is this infected , please reply as i am very worried .

i got my tonygue pierced on friday it is monday and it has grown s small black lump in the front. around the top piercing ball it is a blackish yellowy colour and underneath beside my veins it is sorta green my local gp says its fine but he doent know what hes taking about n i got my tongue piercing 3 hours away from where i live im scared its infected... i also have a titanium bar in because im nickel intolerant but i highly doubt it changes trhe healing process

Guys, having white tastebuds does NOT mean your piercing is infected. I have had mine done twie and it has happened both times, but the piercing has healed perfectly, they will disappear in time. Yellow puss is normal too, thats just where the tongue is healing around the tongue ( you will notice the hole get tighter around the piercing after a couple of days seen as the tongue heals so quickly) - it's normal! As for the blood blister's i don't know, i've never experienced them. :)

I have had mine done for a week and a day now it was peirced from top to bottom, it is still a little tinder. i get the white stuff on top of my toung but it is just food and puss. (no its not infected), i clean my mouth 2 times a day with water mouthwash mix, and i still have the p***y looking stuff coming out of the top and bottom of my toung every now and then. i would say once or twice a day. i just get a q-tip and get it off and afterwords get a clean q-ti dap it in mouthwash and clean around the wholes. when i sleep is when i have most of my problems. i guess my mouth gets dry while sleeping because it seems like it rips a little bit. by late evening it is back to normal. proving the toung is a fast healer. i am eating fine. i can eat pretty much anything i ate before. i have not changed the barbell to a shorter one yet. i have tried but i Pu*sed out. i got the bottom of the bar bell barley in my toung and pushed it right back in.. my sweling is completely gone. i have read where many of yall have had problems with the red bumps i havent had that problem but every one is different. i wish you all the absolute best i hope my experiences have helped ease yalls mind a little.... =)

Guys, its perfectly NORMAL for there to be white stuff, my peircer told me that it will happen and that its compeltely normal don't freak out. I just got mine done and yes it will be swollen and sore just take care of it. There will be white stuff and there will be tenderness but it will be fine.

I did my piercing on Saturday and now all of a sudden it starts to bleed. In the initial piercing it wasn't bleeding. I'm not sure if its because I started to eat hard food like a day after or I've been talking too much why this is happening. Mind you I had done my tongue before about two weeks before but it was too far back so I took it out and that one healed and I didn't have any complications like now. Its been bleeding on and off since around 11 in the night. What do you suggest that I do. I've been researching and some people say I should get Glyodice oral hygiene cleanser. DO you think that would help?? I need help guys cause am really starting to freak out.
