over the past 2/3 years i have had many of your symptoms, well i have cut all sugars, cut dairy except for milk in my porridge in the morning & all white flour, also no processed foods, now the burning & swelling has gone, i still think there is an underlying issue like candida, autoimmune fault, or weak flora & fauna in the gut, but try cutting all the above, worth a go. by the way i'm 31 & yes it was hell

Hi, I read your post and yes you are right about H. Pylori. I have suffered with the same symptoms for a few years, and a couple of months ago tested positive for H. Pylori. I have just completed the course of antibiotics. Prior to the H. Pylori diagnosis and treatment, my symptoms were pain in my back behind my shoulder blade, dreadful anal itching and seepage. I used a third of a bottle of vinegar in the bath and soaked for 15mins and this helped along with cream from the doctor. But as my bottom healed, the itch then attacked my ears. I then had the same problem but in the ears - dreadful itching and seepage. Shortly after that I had itchy nose and also itchy eyes. I went for a routine colonoscopy/gastosropy and was diagnosed with H. Pylori. Within two days of taking the antibiotics the backpain, and anal itching ceased, and then so did the ear itching. It is now a week since I took the medication and I have to return to the doctor to check that I am clear, but I feel the ear itching returning, almost as though the bacteria is fighting back. I intend to use Oil of Oregano and Golden seal as I have read that these work also. But do take the antibiotics. Some people need to be retreated if they have had the problem for years, as I have and as you have.

hello all, my wife developed the very same symptoms docs tried and prescribed every cream under the sun and spent thousands of dollars with no cure just relief with some cortisone creams but always returned after bowel movement. then after a years with no relief doctors could not figure it out and this continued for 4 years. then after exhaustive research and trial and error finally found she had a glutin allergy. cut out all white bread , pasta, and processed foods containing white flower and within a week the symptoms disappeared like magic. now 1 year later with no return or pain and not using any treatment at all we are convinced this is what caused this horrible condition with her. may not work for everyone but if you have tried everything else like she did then its worth trying but be prepaired as we found its all about avoiding processed foods. hope this helps as this condition was destroying our quality of life.D&B

I have H. Pylori and have been diagnosed with it. My systems stared after I was off my medication. I have the same symptoms as you discuss to the T. And they started three weeks ago. I'm not real sure what to do for my issues either. Good luck.

You may be on to something. I think I have just noticed a relationship between Advil and hemorrhoids, but I concurrently had cut my coffee in half in addition to eliminating the advil, so I am not sure which is causative yet. AET, MD

I had similar issues, including watery stool (sometimes even leaking - yuck!!!!) and intense, acidy burning that left the skin bloody. And stomach pains. I was told to stop all milk products, and it worked!! I seem to have lactose intolerance. If I mistakenly eat anything with milk or milk powder, it comes back with a bang. Aged cheeses tend to be okay, as are goat and sheep cheeses. (Although I feel that there are ups and downs with these - maybe my body sometimes still produces some levels of lactose, but not consistently. Lactase pills help with cheeses, but not with the milk.)
Even then, I still have the problem from time to time, but at a lower level. I think that I might have some sort of intolerance to too many tomatoes. When I eat too many over a number of days, then it starts up. When I stop the tomatos, it calms down.
