Hi. I'm 23 year old female and I would like to discuss one problem with people who maybe know more about the possible cause.
About three months I started to experience one very strange problem I have never had before. My lips sometimes swell up to five times their normal size for no apparent reason. I don’t know what to do about this. It last for about three or four hours and then it calms down. During this time, I'm feeling some tingling and itchy sensations.
Just before this happens I get a slight strange sensation on the part of the lip that is about to swell up. Please tell me- what could be the possible cause of this.

Hi. I really don’t know a lot about this and you should probably talk with your GP about this, but I will tell you everything I know.
My brother is suffering from the same condition almost all his life and that’s how I know a bit about it.
I believe we are talking about one condition called angio-edema. It is a form allergic reactions and no one really knows a lot about it. The triggers are unknown and in some cases the condition may be inherited, while in others the cause is often difficult to identify.
What you could do? You should contact your GP and have an allergy test done. It will maybe determine the trigger of you allergy- attacks.
Antihistamines will settle or minimize the attacks.

You sure its not from something you eat?
That happens to me when I eat eggplants(vegetable) and dark grapes...yes of course I wash them off before eating them. **ALLERGIC REACTION**
