Hey,
A month or so back i began to have this horrible itchy feeling inside my urethra after having unprotected sex with an x-girlfriend, I immediately had a screening for STDS which at the same time they did a full std screen I was given an injection of Antibiotics and a 10 day supply of Docycline? Assuming I had an infection. Within 3 days of begining the antibiotics the itch went away and pain subsided. I was also have secretion from the penis. After the 4th day I received my test results which were 100% clean. Thought nothing of it. until a week or so it has come back its strictly just iritation but it is so uncomfortable it's not even funny. What else can this be if it's not an STD? How do I get it cured because its annoying as heck, I am sexually active (protected) which sometimes it can hurt during ejaculation and sometimes it feels great like its satisfying the itch. Same goes for urination, sometimes pain (morning) sometimes feels like im using a coat hanger scratching inside a cast.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

You've got what sounds like jock itch or a yeast infection. Did your girlfriend recently have an infection. Do you drink alcohol? Take Canesoral capsule from canestin, looks like something for a chick but it will also cure most male yeast or jock itch. You may need to start making serious diet changes as well.

I'm a type one diabetic and am extremely healthy, the only set back in my diet as of late is I had shoulder surgery which has caused me to stop going to the gym. I do drink occasionally but traditionally just a light beer here and there. Not enough to be a health issue as of yet due to my age. (24) i hadn't considered the yeast infection so I can by all means speak with my Dr. about this but as for Jock itch I was under the impression that is caused by low hygiene which that I do not have.

Now that you've mentioned that you have diabetes, then it's almost a guarantee that its a yeast infection. Most likely your girlfriend got a mild infection somehow and didn't notice it and passed it onto you.
Unfortunately with diabetes, fungal problems are just a normal part of life. It would be wise to discuss this with your doctor, because now that you've been infected (or possibly not), this will be a problem for 3-6 months until it completely leaves your body. As a diabetic though, your diet has to be paramount in your life.
Please come back after a visit with your doctor and let me know what he recommended or what the result is.

I had the same problem as a teenager and used methylene blue tablets for 4 weeks until the discomfort totally receded. Of course, those tablets are not available anymore because deemed carcinogenic...
