this is my life! except b/c of a rare birth i have had my period since i was 2 years old! Ditto on the boxes and boxes of super plus tampons and the big giant granny pads! gross. And I have been with three different guys in long term relationships and it always comes down to the same thing. When i am bleeding for 3 or more months at a time and they want to argue about sex! I mean i do understand where they are coming from but still.... i feel disgusting! Giant granny panties, giant granny pads, tampons, blood clots, blood running everywhere.. it is not very conducive to a great sex life! and idk what to do! i try to do the whole blowy, handy thing but when u have no drive it is kinda hard to get excited about it. i just want to stop the arguing. i have been to every doctor, at-least a few times a year, all the tests come back normal! except for anemia. and they won't even let me get a partial hysterectomy b/c i am too young or could still get pregnant (even tho more than one Dr has told me i was infertile, and i have had unprotected sex for over 10 years. i am so fed up........

I'm 18 and I've been going through the same thing but I've been on for 9 months my nurse told me I was having a miscarriage but I knew she was crazy because I've never been pregnant but if someone knows what we are going through can you please help
I'm almost on the same problem I was on depo shot for 3 months I stopped it and my period keep on going and I had it already for 6 months now , it haven't went aways I'm still on my period me and my husband still have sex , additional info I'm 18
I'm 16 i'm currently having the same issue i first started my depot shot in January 17 and i never stopped my period and it's the end of April, i'm just wondering has anyone had this same issue but had an actual answer from a doctor that there was something wrong? I've only taken the depot shot once and it just messed up my entire cycle, i just want some advise or answers i'm not sure if i could deal with this much longer
Ive been on my period since Igot the depo shot in Dec. So thats 8 months on my period! Im really scared too though. i dont know whats going on.

Wow.... You should go see your doctor ASAP. That can't be too good! Just keep calm and don't panic, the more you stress the longer it will go on, the longest my period has went on was 16 days, but now I'm pregnant!! I would check that out fast if I were you!! Remember keep calm, the doctor will know what to do, but that's very strange that the nurse told you to wait...but anyway... GOOD LUCK SWEETIE XXXXX
I'm going thru the same thing and it's not fair. I'm 28 and had about 4 different blood transfusion. They told me it's hormonal imbalance and to take birth control. It doesn't work. I'm tired, moody, crazy. I've been on my period 5 months straight with no real answers to why? I've been going thru this since I was 16yrs old. I feel like I never got a chance to really live life because of the torment.

Well to get an hysterectomy means you will never be able to have kids. My specialist asked me if I wanted to have that procedure done but I told him No! i want kids. I'm currently take birth control pills just to stop the bleeding , so i can finally have a normal life. to bleed for 3 to 5months at a time is draining and i don't need that in my life. to be tired, angry, and cranky. The doctors want me to take the birth control pills to try and help regulate it for a year.
I'm 17 and going through the Same thing. It's embarrassing and annoying. I'm none stop Moody and cramp bad. My obgyn did tests on me and said everything is normal. Clearly if I've been on for 5 months I'm not normal.
