ivf after major surgery

hi! i am a 24 yr old women and i have 3 children and recently i had an ectopic pregnancy and i wanted to know how long should i wait to get an ivf because me and my husband want to have one more child,i know this can not be done right away because of all the major surgery i have already had ,but this is the only way for me to have another child and i just want to make sure im healthy enough to get it done . :)
