I urge you all with jawbone infections to take radical treatment early as possible. Antibiotics are useless in my experience and I am having All my root canal filled teeth removed and scraped out as cone beam scan showed deep necrosis black areas in maxilla. though the worrying thing for me is that I had a hip implant two years ago which is now beginning to fail and the likelihood of infection is high. Im having Nuclear bone scan but above all, getting JAWBONE CAVITATIONS cleaned out. Had eruptions on cheek. Dangerous, can lead to cellulitis. Jawbone infections toxic, can spread to (connect with) heart, joints....and medical/dental overlap still overlooked. Taken 9 years of pushing. Dr says see a dentist. Dentists cannot say root canals FAIL. I'm seeing Munro-hall Milton Keynes. My hip shouldn't have been operated while all that was evident in jaw/dental infections. See Walter Last on Borax and DMSO. Be yr own advocate as root canal cover up is there to stay. The establishment/fraternity can never admit the connection between oral infection and disease, but some realise root canals waste of time... eruptions on the face the WORST ... How can anyone deny something so obvious "no physician should overlook an unexplained cutaneous lesions as being of dental origin" Root tip Infection takes the route of least resistance, the cheek fascia! Then onwards through the blood supply to distant areas (hip prosthesis, lethally dangerous).

Hi Lisa, I am unsure if you still follow this post but I am convinced I have a low grade bone infection in my upper jaw, I have been feeling like this for 2 long years. I have seen many dentists, maxo clinic & ct scan & they all see nothing?! Mine started after a bodged root canal which I had 5 years ago, I had the tooth re treated 2 years ago after forming a bump on my gum, 4 days after treatment I experienced horrific pain above & around the re treated tooth & my nose bled & a foul taste in my throat, the endodontist thought the abcess had possibly perforated in to my sinus..following his advice I got the tooth pulled (as he said I had quite bad bone loss around the infected tooth) which then led to more pain. Dentists can find nothing wrong with my teeth & tell me its nerve damage but my symptoms dont fit, I have a 'dent' formed in the side roof of my mouth, above where the pulled tooth root would of been, I have deep upper jaw pain which make my teeth feel heavy with pressure, my cheeks hurt, sometime a little swollen painful heavy/burning gums on the side the tooth infection was, dry nose & very rarely a foul taste in the back of my nose & throat, like rotten, neck & ear pain, surely this can not be nerve damage.... I just dont know what path to take next, I feel im not been taken seriously, I am only 40 & my life feels on hold, I am frustrated as all the medical proffesion seem to have different opinions, I am a human ping pong ball :( . Any advice of what other options I could explore, how would bone infection be diagnosed? would b welcome

Plse push for CONE BEAM SCAN AND NUCLEAR BONE SCAN. plse see my own post, similar to yours, I'm having all root filled teeth out, IV vit C etc, Ozone. I've been unwell since root fillings put in 9 yrs ago with mercury. Botched surgery to remove. Likely hip bone infected etc. Jawbone infection is lethal and ruins quality of life. Odd opportunistic infections, but white cell counts normal. It's time medics join hands with "dentists" and recognise that any unexplained infection, particularly above the neck, is undoubtedly linked to dental infection, more importantly, jawbone infection. I'm taking borax, DMSO. Olive leaf, colloidal silver, h202. Read Walter Last the Ultimate cleanse - controversial but what can you do when Drs/Dentists in denial. Cellulitis on the cheek is v serious and can lead to necrotising fasciitis. When sinus invaded, it's v close to the brain. I've done years of research and the deaths from jawbone infection are common. Why are they so blinkered. Patients read more research than they do. Root fillings fail. FACT

Ps. The dentist doing my cavitation surgery said implants are the devil. He was made very ill from amalgam Mercury he was using for 20 years. The profession ostracised him. The time has come to recognise the tooth, root, and structures cannot be messed with by incompetent "dentists". An infection around a tooth can kill if not properly treated. Root filled teeth eventually get infected and if filled with mercury heaven forbid, will cause intractable illness and worse. Crois-moi I've read thousands of published literature from respectable universities worldwide including NIH. I don't understand why they don't hold their hands up in shame. What is wrong? Mind you the NHS dentists now in the uk don't even get their drills out; they're all doing Botox - more profitable. I'd trust my equine dentist more! (Tongue in swollen cheek)

I wish I could get help, I cant find any doctor who will listen to me. Ive been to several different types of drs, (approx. 27) including 3 ENT, no help, and this has spread from the right side of my head, neck to the left and into both of my sinuses, and it spread so fast once it hit the other side of my jaw/head and sinus. What dr. did you get help from?

How is your jawbone now? What procedures have you had? I have an almost identical history! After my extraction/graft I was fine....then did a bridge and now having the same issues! I get burning in ear/jaw and run high fevers...antibiotics are not working as well as years past...think I'm getting a tolerance.

I wrote about 2 years ago, just following up with what happened. I found a holistic dentist who finally listened (after 5 dentists did not) and I have the tooth with the root canal pulled and lost some jaw bone. It took some time to heal. I should have gone back but he wanted to pull the 4 other root canal teeth out and they weren't hurting so I delayed. Overall, I feel fine. I do wish there were a way to find out if I still have infection. It doesn't seem to show on regular blood tests at my annual check up. I believe that root canals only stop the pain for a few years, then they hide infection in the roots and it can be much worse.

My doctor said, that some things need a hammer . A PIC line and antibiotic IV weekly for six months.
Everyone is different and we all need to do our own research,
The newest machine that is our of Europe that TAU located bone infections and hidden dental infections
