I am a 45 year old man, and I recently visited my local family doctor for a general check up. Everything was sort of OK, but I have now been diagnosed with pre-diabetes. The doctor says that I will be fine as long as I live more healthily in the future. How does one do that, and where should I start?

Hi Paul
Stepping back from the slippery slope of diabetes? Yes, it certainly is possible.
Your first step (no pun intended) is movement. This will have the greatest effect on your wellbeing. Diet of course plays a part, but movement is imperative.
Its time to engage a personal trainer to show you how to do this, and the safe way to exercise. A personal trainer will also help keep you on track and motivated.
Hope this helps - let us know how you go!
