Hi, folks. My friend has been administrated recently to the hospital due to kidney colic. I think that he was given NSAID medications for this. I wonder if this is enough. I would like to know about effectiveness of these drugs in treatment of this codnition. Thanks in advance. Bye, guys!
Hello, there. You should be aware that kidney colic is only the manifestation of kidney stone’s presence. The real treatment means to eliminate this stone. Before this happens, doctors give analgesics to relieve pain. Those are mostly NSAIDs. They are considered to be more effective than opiates. There is a great range of these medications. Many think that diclofenac is very good for this purpose. I hope I’ve helped you. Bye!
