I am a male in my mid 30's and have been ill with a temperature, chills, lower pain, burning on urinating and went to the doctor who did a litmus test on my urine. The proteins were high and he said that indicated a kidney infection. I have been on my pills for a week and have finished them so went back as told, and the proteins are normal but I am still getting terrible burning when I pee and am in awful discomfort still. He told me to wait three days and go back. Could I also have a urinary-tract infection; could I have either urinary or kidney stones; or do I simply need more mediation even thought the proteins are now normal.
