After throat ulcers finally started to clear, my feet and knees started swelling, but no one seems to know why. My doctor is saying I'm fine but my feet are still swelling and my knees are starting to swell too. What should I do?

When I get down on my knees, later on, that night my knees start getting very hot and aching. Then they start itching really bad. It usually lasts a day, then my knees hurt for days. What is causing these hives?

My wife will have allergic reactions to “inferior” metals in cheap earrings, still wears them. But this can be a trigger for the rest of your body too.

Hello guys. I asked my doctor and this is what he told me.

If your knees and feet are hot, red, and swollen, it could be a sign of various conditions or illnesses (besides some of you already mentioned). Some possible causes include:

  1. Arthritis: Both rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis can cause joint inflammation and swelling, which can lead to hot, red, and swollen knees and feet.

  2. Gout: Gout is a type of arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints. It commonly affects the big toe, but can also cause hot, red, and swollen knees and feet.

  3. Cellulitis: Cellulitis is a skin infection that can cause redness, swelling, and warmth in the affected area. If the infection affects the knees and feet, they may become hot, red, and swollen.

  4. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT): DVT is a blood clot that forms in a deep vein, usually in the leg. It can cause swelling, redness, and warmth in the affected leg.

  5. Injuries: An injury to the knee or foot, such as a sprain or fracture, can cause swelling, redness, and warmth in the affected area.

It is important to see a doctor if you are experiencing hot, red, and swollen knees and feet, especially if it is accompanied by pain, fever, or difficulty moving the affected joint.

Hope this helps.
