So this is a bit embarrassing to say even though I know many other women are infected. I finally got angry enough today to do a bit more research today and found this forum.
Anyways, my labia (Minora one I think. Personally I can't tell the difference between the minora nad majora from pictures..) is larger on my left side.
It's not as big as some I've seen on the surgery sites I've googled, but it does cause me a lot of discomfort. My right side is totally normal but the left side is driving me nuts.
I can't wear thongs or anything since it protrudes.
I would be way too embrassed to wear a bikini in public or anything as well.
But mostly, It severely discomforts me. it itches and I can't wear jeans or it stings when I walk. I'm not the skinniest girl out there and my legs do rub together when I walk so that might also be a factor but mostly it just sticks out and drives me nuts.
I've read some other posts on here but wasn't sure still.
I'm 17 and not active. No one has seen me down there anyways. I'm really embarrassed by it.
I don't know whether I should get surgery or not. I still haven't even told my mom that I've been considering surgery for the past two years!
Would it be more beneficial to go through the pain and swelling and spend the money on it?
I heard some women get hypersensitive down there afterwards and I would not want to have to get surgery and then get it again to fix any 'problems' that might occur afterwards...

Whoops, I said "infected". Sorry about that, I meant affected.
