I had been living with back pain for several years now. Last March I slipped in the shower felt a snap and the intense pain began. I went thru an entire of pain and missy. Physical therapy months of steroid injections which only helped temporarily. My pain began from mid back to right hip and knee. It became so severe that I could no longer do things with my kids, mall, gardening just enjoyed life was painfully. Because of work I had to wait until January to have surgery. So on 1-9-13 had the procedure and I've been experiencing some back pain on surgery site but my most painful experience is my right hip and radiating to my toes feels heavy, numb. I was told I could only lay on my sides so sleeping in just intolerable. I have to be switching every hour or so. I'm suppose to be sitting for no more than 30minutes inter Al's 4xs a day and walk 15 minutes intervals. Does this get better. I feel lopsided when walking with use of a walker! I regret having surgery now because before I could walk but rested and could walk slightly better. Help I. Texas!!
